In my opinion, there are two candidates for your "best" destinies: Blademaster and Shadowcaster. The Blademaster is the top tier of the Might/Finesse. With this Destiny, you will become a master of both melee and ranged attacks. The high critic percentage and damage grants that you can beat enemies quite easily.

They are by far the best class once you get the hang. I mean weapon, not class haha. Pure melee as a warrior type is totally broken if you take blacksmithing. You can make gear that far outclasses anything you can find. Blacksmithing and Sagecrafting are definitely two of the skill trees you'd want to invest in.
