I have been thinking about getting the new X5 for the family and occasionally for myself. From what I have read, 30d is the logical choice but the performance in 40d looks attractive as well. I haven't test drive any of them yet. 40d is certainly more expensive but does come with more standard features. I am wondering if anyone has driven them

Currently doing services on MY14, 35d. Wanted to share to make it easy for anyone who wants to tackle the job of removing EGR Valve for cleaning. 1) use the tongue and Groove pliers to grasp the EGR Valve, twist a bit while pulling up to separate a bit. Just enough to be able to start working the pry tool in there with a "rubber mallet".
#1 · Aug 25, 2022 The Drivetrain Malfunction warning comes on when I'm accelerating on the highway and it tells me to drive moderately in my 2015 X5 xdrive. It doesn't come on all the time.
